LIGHTING

The orchid needs bright but indirect light.
East- or west-facing windows are ideal. Direct sunlight may cause leaf burns.

WATERING

Water the orchid approximately once every 7–10 days. It is important not to overwater — standing water can cause root rot.
The best method is soaking: place the pot in a container of water for 15–20 minutes, then allow excess water to drain.

Reduce watering slightly in winter.

AIR HUMIDITY

Orchids prefer moderate humidity. During the heating season or in dry air conditions, it is helpful to mist the leaves (not the flowers) with soft, lukewarm water.

FERTILIZING

Feed the orchid with special orchid fertilizer about once every 2–3 weeks during the active growth and blooming period.
In winter, fertilizing is reduced or temporarily stopped.

AFTER FLOWERING

If the flower spike remains green and firm, it can be carefully trimmed above the second or third node — this may stimulate reblooming.
If the spike has completely dried out, cut it off at the base.

FEATURES AND CARE TIPS

Orchids do not tolerate stagnant water — always remove excess water from the saucer.

Frequent relocation may delay flowering — try to keep the plant in stable conditions.

White or grayish roots are normal; green roots indicate good hydration.
